JOB'S TESTIMONY-2

Text :Job 38:2

Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

When the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD. It was at this time, the Lord testified about Job as His servant; a perfect and an upright man, one that fears God, and shuns evil, and still he holds fast his integrity in the face of great challenge.

Though Job never sinned against God all through the time of his ordeals, yet He couldn't see the workings of God in his life at this time

Job's case can be likened to many of God's children today; they are oblivious of God's workings in their lives. Perhaps that's your own case as well. But the LORD would have you trust in His judgement above all else.

You must settle it in your heart that God's   thoughts towards you are thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah  29:11.

Job's friends accused him that his trials was as a result of  his sin, but he consistently and blatantly refused their allegations; proving his righteousness before the Lord. Job's major shortfall in all of his challenges was that he continuously justify himself rather than God. (Job 32:2).

When you are confronted with any situation that is beyond your comprehension, the first thing you must come to terms with, is that God is ALWAYS righteous. You must know that there is no wickedness and iniquity in God.

This understanding will always place you in a vantage point to receive help from the Lord. Devil often lie to you that God is not good or fair to you. Devil tells you, "If God is good to you, why are you going through this problem?"  Devil tells you, "God loves your  neighbour more than you" All these and more are lies of the devil, please do not buy it.

God is a good and  righteous God. He is good and His mercy endures forever.

Romans 10:12&13 shows that our God is not a partial God.

For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
