SEEK THE COMMANDS-2

Text: Matthew 28:20

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Our Lord Jesus Christ wants you to teach all things He has commanded, and to observe all things whatsoever He has commanded you as well.

Today, we shall be looking at how you can observe all things that Jesus has commanded.

If you are not properly taught about "ALL things" that Jesus has commanded, you cannot observe them. So there must be a teacher and preacher of the commands. Apostle Paul told Timothy (in 2 Timothy 4:2&3) to Preach the word; be instant in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine; because a time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine.

Sound doctrine defines all that Jesus has commanded you to observe. *Any preaching or teaching that is not pointing you to Jesus is not founded on sound doctrine.

The "All things" commanded in the great commission is the great commandment- LOVE.

As far as God is concerned, Love is "all things" and "all things" is Love.* If you are able to keep the royal law which is Love, you would have kept the "All things" that is commanded by Jesus Christ.

If you love the Lord, you will keep His sayings.

Jesus once said, _"If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him"_ John 14:23

True love for Jesus will make you observe " All things" He commanded you to observe.

Bible reading:Mathew 28:17-20

PRAYER FOCUS

1) Father, I receive grace to love you more and more so as to keep all things whatsoever you command me to do.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

WAY MAKER-2

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has done this before, and He will do it again even in your own life.  When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them, encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.(Exodus 14:9). Just like anyone would react, the Isrealites became so fearful because there is neither way forward nor back for them to escape. Before them was the red sea, behind them were the Egyptian armies. They became perplexed and began to murmur against Moses. It is possible you are also in a situation like the Israelites- No way forward, and no way behind. Things may appear like you are ...

TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell? Everlasting life or Everlasting condemnation? Time is an opportunity given to man to trade for eternal life. You have limited time to exchange for eternal life in eternity.  Time offers you the opportunity to ga...
