MY PEACE

Text : John 14:27

I’m leaving you at peace. I’m giving you my own peace. I’m not giving it to you as the world gives. So don’t let your hearts be troubled, and don’t be afraid.

The Lord of Peace Himself left us His peace, so be encouraged, if you have Jesus, you have more than enough.

This world offers some kind of peace in a way, *be rest assured that whatever peace this world offers will always be temporal.* There's no lasting Peace in this world .

The only lasting Peace there is, can only come from the Prince of Peace Himself. Isaiah 9:6.

2 Thessalonians 3:16 says *Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means* .

Because He is the Lord of Peace, the owner and custodian of true Peace. He can command your peace, your wellbeing to come from any quarter, regardless of protocols.

This is why He said in Proverbs 16:7 that when the way of a man pleases the Lord, He will make his enemy to be at peace with him.

Your take in this matter is to ensure that your ways please the Father. If your way pleases the Father, then you can go to sleep, because your enemies automatically becomes His enemies and your battle becomes His as well.

The Lord of Peace Himself says He will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace. Exodus 14:14.

Bible reading: Psalms 46:1-11.

 *PRAYER FOCUS*

1.) Father God, I receive the grace to lead a life that is pleasing to you in all ways.

2.) I receive the Peace that the Prince of Peace is giving today in Jesus name.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

WAY MAKER-2

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has done this before, and He will do it again even in your own life.  When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them, encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.(Exodus 14:9). Just like anyone would react, the Isrealites became so fearful because there is neither way forward nor back for them to escape. Before them was the red sea, behind them were the Egyptian armies. They became perplexed and began to murmur against Moses. It is possible you are also in a situation like the Israelites- No way forward, and no way behind. Things may appear like you are ...

TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell? Everlasting life or Everlasting condemnation? Time is an opportunity given to man to trade for eternal life. You have limited time to exchange for eternal life in eternity.  Time offers you the opportunity to ga...
