Text : Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
*We live in a hurting world. A number of people you see on the streets are wounded souls capable of wounding others.*
We have many children today who are been wounded emotionally, and psychologically by their wounded parents.
This endless cycle of hurts is the devil's master plan to keep mankind in perpetual damaged state. A damaged, wounded parent will give birth to an innocent child, but because of his or her imbalanced state of mind, he ends up damaging and wounding this innocent child who will in turn grow up to be wounded parents ready to inflict injury on his or her children, either knowingly or unknowingly.
To break free from this vicious cycle, an encounter with Jesus is the only way out.
Regardless of how damaged you are and Regardless of who was responsible for the damage, once you encounter Jesus, He will not only heal you of your hurt, He will also give you the grace to be a source of healing to another.
This is why you are created - *you have been created in Christ Jesus unto good works, it's time to live up to your calling.*
Imagine, God had ordained you (long before now) to perform good works.
Little wonder Acts 10:38 says, How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about *doing good* , and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Jesus has left us an example of how His disciples should live here on earth. He expects you to be a shining light in a world full of darkness.
He expects you to be a healing balm to to the hurting world around you, and eventually, nations of the earth will feel the healing hand of God.
Don't add to the aches and pains that is prevalent already in our world, instead, be the reason why someone is truly happy.
Bible reading: Ephesians 2:1-10.
*PRAYER FOCUS*
