AUTHORITY IN JESUS' NAME-2

Text : Philippians 2:9&10

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 

 *The name of JESUS is the only passport you have to God's throne.* 

The approach you use when using the name of Jesus to command a situation is quite different when you are making a request in His name in the place of prayer. The reason many don't have their prayers answered is because they pray amiss. 

When you pray, you are not to pray to Jesus but to God in the name of Jesus. This is where many believers miss it altogether. John 15:16,16:23 & 26 established the fact that you pray to God in Jesus' name. 

Jesus said in John 16:23 that whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in His name, He (the Father) will give it to you. 

So, you must be well grounded in the fact that all prayers are directed to the Father (God) in the name of Jesus. 

Praying and giving thanks to God in the name of Jesus gives you the right access of fellowship with God. . 

One major key to effective use of Jesus' name is having FAITH in His name. You must strongly believe that the name will always answer for you. You must unwaveringly rely on the resultant effect of the name. No wonder we are told not to take the name of God in vain. Exodus 20:7. 

Taking the name of God in vain might as well be equivalent to calling or using the name without believing in its potency.

Apostle Peter said about the man that was healed at the beautiful gate that it was Faith in Jesus' name that got him healed.  

And his name, through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. Acts 3:16.

Many people will often think that calling Jesus' name several times or shouting it on top of their voices will make the name more potent and powerful to deliver the desired result. While it may not be a bad idea to shout the name, it is important to know that the potency of the name is not released when it is shouted or chanted. *The name of Jesus simply works and make power available when it is called in Faith.* 

If only you will use the name of Jesus in Faith, then you will be able to take delivery of your miracle today. Acts 2:21.

1.) Use the name of Jesus to drive out that sickness out of your body. Command the devil to take off his hands from your life, health, family, business, ministry in the name of Jesus.

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell? Everlasting life or Everlasting condemnation? Time is an opportunity given to man to trade for eternal life.
