DON'T BE WEARY

 *Text:* Galatians  6:9

*And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.*

Yesterday, we saw that you can either sow to the flesh or to the Spirit. And you are guaranteed harvest for either of this sowings.

You sow to the flesh, you reap corruption, you sow to the Spirit, you reap life everlasting.

The verse 7 of Galatians chapter 6 warned us about self-deception, the verse 8 talked about the results of our sowing and verse 9 is encouraging you not to be weary in sowing the right seed.

'Well doing' is simply the act of sowing to the Spirit.  As you keep following the voice of the Spirit, you must avoid any form of weariness on your path. Hence, you are encouraged not to be weary.

To be weary is to allow yours feelings set in the way of your breakthrough and eventually the  harvest.

Are you obeying the Lord? Does it look like you are not seeing the result of the obedience(seed) you are sowing?

Don't be weary, just set your gaze on Jesus, He will come through for you at the appointed time.

_Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God. Isaiah  50:10_

There is an appropriate season for every seed to bring forth. When you don't know this simple truth, you will be running helter-skelter looking for your harvest at the wrong time and in the wrong places.

Our text pointed out the fact that you shall reap if  you do not faint. *When you allow weariness set in, you will faint and if you faint, you will not reap.*

The scripture encourages us not to cast away our confidence.

_Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.  For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Hebrews 10:35-37_

The only thing you need to keep doing is sowing to the Spirit. Keep obeying the voice of the Spirit. Keep doing well in sowing the right seed. Your harvest will surely come in due season.

Keep trusting the Lord, you will neither be disgraced nor put to shame.

*BIBLE READING:* Galatians 6: 7-9

 *PRAYER FOCUS*

1. Father, give me the grace and strength not to be weary in well doing.

2. Father, help me not to faint that I might reap in due season.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...

IN MY NAME.

Text : Mark 16:17-18  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Having believed in the gospel (Good news of the resurrection of Jesus and His victory over Sin, Satan and Death), you now need to start using the name of Jesus authoritatively. JESUS said that in His name you shall cast out devils; you shall speak with new tongues; you shall take up serpents; and if you drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt you; you shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. This means that you will undertake all these in the authority of Jesus' name. No matter how small or powerless you may think you are in your own eyes. Once you believe in His name, you shall do all that He promised.   Unbelief was the sin that Israelites committed that wasted a whol...
