THE WAY


Text :John 14:6

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus is not just a Way, but He is _THE WAY!_ He is the only WAY that leads to life. He is the only WAY that leads to God. Sometimes, when you are on a journey to a particular destination, there could be many routes or way you can use in order to arrive in your destination. In this case, you have the privilege of choosing from your options. However, when you want to journey into God, the only route that is available is Jesus Christ. 

The early followers of Christ were being  addressed as people of the Way. Acts 9:2. Many people may be confused and confounded but those in Christ should never be. As a person of the way, you must not accept the arrows of confusion in your life. No one who genuinely follows Christ will be lost. Even in your day to day decision taking you cannot miss it if you genuinely follow the way.  When you are in the Way(Jesus), your steps are well guided and ordered by Him. 

_The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way._ Psalms  37:23
 When you take  delight in God's Way (Jesus), you will never miss your steps in life. 
 
As you give yourself to loving and following, the Way(Jesus), you will be able to see how much of God's love has been made available to you through the Way(Jesus).John 3:16, 1John 3:1. 
You must know that you can never be stranded if you are in the Way. No matter how strait or rugged the Way(Jesus) may appear, He is still the only way that leads to the Father. As you walk in the way, you are cultured on how to live the Kindgom lifestyle.

Always maintain an intentional and conscious attitude that you cannot be confused or stranded in life. This is because you are in the Way.

 Read through the new testament, the word "confused and confusion" were only  mentioned amongst the people that are not in the Way(Jesus). At no point in time would you ever hear:  "... And Paul was confused not knowing what to do"

 No! People of the Way are never confused, for they are led by the Spirit.

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. IN MY NAME.

Text : Mark 16:17-18  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Having believed in the gospel (Good news of the resurrection of Jesus and His victory over Sin, Satan and Death), you now need to start using the name of Jesus authoritatively.
