REJOICE

Text :  1 Thess.  5:16

Rejoice evermore.

In Philippian 4:4 (ISV)   the scripture instructed us to:
Keep on rejoicing in the Lord at all times. I will say it again: Keep on rejoicing!

While Joy is a noun, Rejoice is a an action word(verb). So, Joy is a state which is being expressed as REJOICE. *One who rejoices is one who has Joy. True rejoicing comes from the well of Joy.* Only the Joyous can Rejoice. I pray that you will always see and have reasons for rejoicing in Jesus name.

The scripture is clear about the context of our rejoicing- *IN THE LORD.* This is the only context that will always give you reasons for continuous rejoicing. If your rejoicing is in your wife, husband or children, there will be days they won't be there for you. If your Joy is IN your wealth, status or achievements, you will suddenly realise that they don't bring lasting happiness. *Nothing or No one in this world is capable of giving you a lasting Joy. Only Christ does.*

*The only One that guarantees your continuous and fullness of Joy is Christ.* So, for you to be able to Rejoice always, it has to be in the Lord.
*Do not always wait for a cause to Rejoice, rather find a cause to Rejoice-Christ is enough cause.*

If your Joy is dependent on the offerings of this world, you will always experience ups and down moments, but if your joy comes from the Lord, though there might be turbulence all around you, you will always experience the Joy of the Lord on the inside.

*Your rejoicing will daily flow from inside out and your Joy will become full, when your affection and focus is on Christ and Christ alone.* It's only in Christ, your Peace and Joy can be found.

 *REJOICE FOREVERMORE!*

Bible reading: Mathew 2:8-11.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...

DECEITFULNESS OF SIN 2

TEXT. Hebrews 3:13  *But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin* .  *While deceit is a sin, Sin itself is deceitful.* Sin has the capacity to lure a man to do stuffs. *One of the major vices of the devil is to make sin appear attractive and unharmfult.* If Eve could see what the consequences of eating the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil would be, she would have resisted the deception of the man of sin. She was simply deceived.Gen, 3:6 While it is no news that all sinners are already condemned to deceitfulness of sin, it is sad to know that many children of God (like Adam and Eve), are being easily deceived by Sin. See the case of Ananias and Sapphira, Acts 5:1-13. Many Christians today are still playing the same game of smartness this couple played. I call it smartness because that was what they thought they were doing. While they thought they were smart, Peter knew that Satan h...
