DON'T QUIT!

 Text:  Galatians  6:9

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

One major difference between a person who is tagged a failure and one who is tagged a success is tenacity.  While a failure easily gives up, a successful person is tenacious. He never gives up easily.

Any of your good and godly attempts will always yield results if only you don't give up. Just as the common saying goes - Quitters never win and winners never quit, you must trust in God's grace never to quit in well-doing.

There is always a due season for every seed you put into the ground to germinate. The due season for maize is not the same as an orange. If you compare your harvest period as a bamboo grower with a maize farmer, you will easily quit. A man who is doing well is a man who is holding unto his profession of faith in Christ Jesus even in hard times.

For you to reap in due season, you must leave the camp of quitters, and join the camp of the faithful and the waiters. You must know that patience and faith works hand in hand. Hence, promises can only be inherited through faith and patience.
_That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. Hebrews  6:12_

As you keep holding on in Faith and in Patience, the Lord will come through for you in Jesus' name. I encourage you to hang on, for the Lord your will surely come through for you. Do not quit and throw in the towel.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

WAY MAKER-2

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has done this before, and He will do it again even in your own life.  When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them, encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.(Exodus 14:9). Just like anyone would react, the Isrealites became so fearful because there is neither way forward nor back for them to escape. Before them was the red sea, behind them were the Egyptian armies. They became perplexed and began to murmur against Moses. It is possible you are also in a situation like the Israelites- No way forward, and no way behind. Things may appear like you are ...

BEWARE OF DOGS

Text :  Philippians 3:2. Beware of the dogs! Beware of the evil workers! Beware of the mutilators! Usually, when you see the inscription "BEWARE OF DOGS", you instantly know there's a wild or trained dog around the corner, hence, the need to beware.  However, when God says 'Beware of dogs,' He wasn't actually referring to dogs as in 'animals' but to animals in human skin. Note that this caution was given to believers against other so-called  believers.  That is, some people within the church that we refer to as brothers and sisters are actually operating in the capacity of dogs.Though fellow worshippers in the church are called brothers and sisters, but if they behave like wild animals, know that they are dogs in humans skin- BEWARE. Matthew  7:6 says *Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.*  Essentially, dogs don't have capacity to r...
