TRUE DEFINITION OF LIFE

Text : John 10:10 ISV 

 *The thief comes only to steal, slaughter, and destroy. I’ve come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.* 

 *True definition of life comes through understanding, in ALL YOUR GETTING, GET UNDERSTANDING.* Prov. 4:7.

Since the fall of man, man has been living with the wrong definition of life. Man was not created for survival, this comes as a result of the fall. 

In Genesis 3, we saw that the ground was cursed for man's sake, because of disobedience. 

And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Gen 3:17. 

 *No man can wriggle out of God's verdict except through Christ.* 

Through Adam, humanity has been living in death, and everything we refer to as life is actually death. 

 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:Rom 5:12.

Man would have been hopelessly, eternally doomed if not for God's love that made Jesus to come to the rescue of mankind. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.Joh 3:16.

Also, we are comforted to know that Just as sin entered the world through one man, and death resulted from sin, therefore everyone dies, because everyone has sinned. In the same way, life comes to those who receive the overflowing grace and the gift of righteousness through one man, Jesus the Messiah! Romans 5:14-21.

Whatever happens to anyone who is not in Christ, be it good or evil, it's all an experience in death. *The fact that a slave gives birth or buys a car doesn't change his status from being a slave. A rich slave is still a slave.* 

 *A dead man is a dead man regardless of what he puts on* . The only change of his name would be when he wakes up from the dead. 

Man's life is not defined by what happened around him but by what happened in him.True Life begins with Jesus.

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. IN MY NAME.

Text : Mark 16:17-18  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Having believed in the gospel (Good news of the resurrection of Jesus and His victory over Sin, Satan and Death), you now need to start using the name of Jesus authoritatively. JESUS said that in His name you shall cast out devils; you shall speak with new tongues; you shall take up serpents; and if you drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt you; you shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. This means that you will undertake all these in the authority of Jesus' name. No matter how small or powerless you may think you are in your own eyes.
