SOWING AND REAPING

Text : Galatian 6:7

*Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.*

Most times,  when topic of sowing and reaping is raised,  what readily comes to mind is money.

Well,  money is one of the things that can be sown, but our emphasis today is not on money.

The truth is,  *everything we do here- ( on earth) is governed by the principle of sowing and reaping. Living in the consciousness of this helps you to sow reasonably.*

Gen 8:22 says While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. This is God's sworn promise to mankind.  Now Gal. 6:7 says,  don't be deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Whatsoever means what so ever,  either good or bad. *It is sheer deception  to sow evil and expects to reap good. WHATEVER YOU SOW YOU WILL REAP.*

Luke 6:44 says because every tree is known by its own fruit. People don’t gather figs from thorny plants or pick grapes from a thorn bush.

As a child, you will reap whatever you are sowing now into your parents when you become a parent.

As a wife,  your mother in law is a ground, be careful what you sow to her now because you will reap it when you become mother-in-law too.

*Sow kindness,  and you will reap same, sow mercy and you will be shown mercy.  Mat 5:7*

“How blessed are those who are merciful,   because it is they who will receive mercy!

*Don't sit on the neck of your beneficiaries expecting him to repay you, ultimately, your rewarder is God and He decides the vessel to bless you with.*

One thing is certain,  whatever you sow you will reap. Your actions and inactions are seeds and you will reap them bountifully in future.  Be careful what you sow.

If the righteous receive what they are due here on earth,   how much more will the wicked and the sinner.Pro 11:31 ISV.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...

IN MY NAME.

Text : Mark 16:17-18  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Having believed in the gospel (Good news of the resurrection of Jesus and His victory over Sin, Satan and Death), you now need to start using the name of Jesus authoritatively. JESUS said that in His name you shall cast out devils; you shall speak with new tongues; you shall take up serpents; and if you drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt you; you shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. This means that you will undertake all these in the authority of Jesus' name. No matter how small or powerless you may think you are in your own eyes. Once you believe in His name, you shall do all that He promised.   Unbelief was the sin that Israelites committed that wasted a whol...
