HE IS RISEN

Text : Mat 28:6-7.

 *He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.* 

 *And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.* 

One thing the devil didn't see coming was the fact that Jesus will rise from the dead. This was his greatest undoing that he will regret till eternity. 

1 Cor. 2:8 says "None of the rulers of this world understood it, because if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory."

The fact that He is risen is the hallmark of our faith in Him. "If Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain."1 Cor 15:14. But Praise be to God, Jesus is risen from the dead. HALLELUYAH!!! 

 *When Jesus was being crucified, the enemy thought that was the end, little did they realized that was only the end of humans' slavery to sin and death! Glory to God.* 

 *Prior to His crucifixion and ascension, death was stinging men like vipers and grave was gaining victory over man, but Glory to God! Death is now swallowed up in victory through Jesus Christ.* 

This is why 1Cor 15:55-57 declares 'O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?'

The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Till date, the enemy still didn't want people to know the import of this gospel that indeed HE IS RISEN.

The first and urgent message the angels gave to the disciples (women) that first got wind of His resurrection was to go tell the other disciples of the great news. 

 *If indeed God has given you the understanding of His resurrection power, then you are saddled with the urgent responsibility of telling others.* 

 *Note that the message of life can only be received by disciples, to others, such message is foolishness.* 

For the message about the cross is nonsense to those who are being destroyed, but it is God’s power to us who are being saved.1Co 1:18 ISV .

A man may be walking in ignorance by reason of his darkened mind, but if he is a disciple at heart, once the light of the gospel beams on him, he will come to light. 

 *He is risen so you can be risen. He is risen from the dead so He could give you life eternal.* 

 _Are you aware He is risen?_ 

 _Do you believe He is risen?_ 

 _Then, arise, and tell others of the good news._

WAY MAKER-2

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has done this before, and He will do it again even in your own life.  When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them, encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.(Exodus 14:9). Just like anyone would react, the Isrealites became so fearful because there is neither way forward nor back for them to escape. Before them was the red sea, behind them were the Egyptian armies. HIS VOICE- 2

Text : John 10:3. To him the porter opens; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. We established yesterday that one thing you can't joke with as a true follower of Christ is *His Voice.* You must recognise and hearken to (obey) His voice. It is in doing this that your safety is assured.  Today, we want to see another responsibility of the Shepherd over His sheep.  To him the porter opens; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calls his own sheep by name, *and leads them out.* John 10:3.  He called you, that He might lead you. It is not enough for you to hear or recognise His Voice, you must allow Him to lead you as well.  Romans 8:14 says *For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.*   The Spirit leading you determines the family you belong to.
