Justified By Faith

Text. : Romans 3:28

Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law._ (NIV)

Though several people have professed and confessed Jesus as their personal Saviour and Lord, but they still discover that sin overpowers them.  They are yet to experience  victory over sin in their daily experience.

One of the reasons for this is because we pursue to perfect our salvation through our personal efforts and the laws. The only thing laws can do for us is to awaken us to the consciousness of sin.

Jesus started the journey of our salvation, and He is the only One that can Perfect it (not the law or man's efforts). All we need do is simply believe Him.Because, He's the One that works in us both to will and to do His good pleasure. Phil. 2:13.

I realised that though many people have truly given their lives to Christ, but because they keep falling into sins; they gave up and went back to their former estate. Some have tried to stop one sinful habit or the other, but having tried severally and failed, they threw in the towel.

When you employ rules and regulations (laws) to overcome sinful life, you will keep falling and failling. You cannot be justified through laws but only by Faith in what Jesus had done on the Cross.

The just shall live by Faith_* (Hebrew 10;38)

You can only live through Faith in Jesus. Faith is  the only requirement to live righteously. Simply plunge your faith(believe) in Jesus and you shall be saved from all the sins that have been harrassing you.

In order to witness victory over sin or come into salvation, you can go to Him today by simply praying thus:

Father, I thank you for sending Jesus to die for my sin on the cross. I believe that Jesus had finished the work of my salvation on the cross. I believe that Jesus had paid all the price on the cross. Today I confess that I am a sinner. I therefore come to Jesus for forgiveness and cleansing. I receive victory _over sin through_ _His death on the cross. I declare that I am free from sin and_ _death. I am a new person from now on. I walk in victory henceforth.

*Walk in your Victory henceforth. Halleluyah !!!*

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...

IN MY NAME.

Text : Mark 16:17-18  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Having believed in the gospel (Good news of the resurrection of Jesus and His victory over Sin, Satan and Death), you now need to start using the name of Jesus authoritatively. JESUS said that in His name you shall cast out devils; you shall speak with new tongues; you shall take up serpents; and if you drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt you; you shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. This means that you will undertake all these in the authority of Jesus' name. No matter how small or powerless you may think you are in your own eyes. Once you believe in His name, you shall do all that He promised.   Unbelief was the sin that Israelites committed that wasted a whol...
