WAIT 2

Text :Psalm 27:14

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

One common factor in the lives of those who wait on the Lord is that,  they always get their strength renewed.

*Wait on the LORD* : be of good courage, and *he shall strengthen thine heart* : wait, I say, on the LORD. Psalm 27:14.

But they that wait upon the LORD* shall *renew their strength* ; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.Isa 40:31.

By nature,  human's strength get depleted on a daily basis,  the only sure means of getting your strength replenished is by waiting on Him. Also,  by nature,  man does not like to wait, we are advancing in this information age by the minute, where everyone is looking for shortcuts to everything. But below are few of the things that happen to those who have received grace to be Waiters:

1. They get their strength renewed. PS. 27:14., Is, 40:31.

2. They will inherit the earth .Ps 37:9.

3. They shall be saved. Prov. 20:22, Is. 25:9, Lam.  3:26.

Note that Waiting on the Lord and keeping His words are two sides of a coin. " I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope."Psa 130:5, 37:34.

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

Psa 37:7 KJV

For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.Psa 37:9

Faithful is He who promised.  He is watching to perform all of His promises to you. All you need do is WAIT!!!

DON'T RUN AHEAD OF YOUR MAKER. THOUGH IT TARRIES, IT WILL NOT TARRY, WAIT I SAY ON THE LORD.  For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.Hab. 2:3.

Bible reading: 1 Samuel 13:1-15.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...

TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell? Everlasting life or Everlasting condemnation? Time is an opportunity given to man to trade for eternal life. You have limited time to exchange for eternal life in eternity.  Time offers you the opportunity to ga...
