THE FATHER'S LOVE

Text: 1 John 3:1 

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not._ 

One of the schemes and strategies of the devil is to make you believe that you are not loved by God.The devil projects this thought into your heart and even shows you evidences. The devil shows you all the challenges and mountains around you, so you can believe that you are not loved by God. So many have been deceived and bought into this BIG LIES from the pit of hell. 

God's word says that the Father has Loved us with  an everlasting love. (Jer 31:3). You must believe the unconditional Love of God towards you today. Whatever the circumstances around you might be, I want to announce to you today that you are LOVED by God.

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us. God's Love  bestowed upon you can be proven by the following:

1. He sacrificed His only begotten Son for you.
It was not an easy thing for Jesus to be sacrificed on the cross. Our Lord Jesus Christ was seperated from His Father for the very first time in eternity just becasue of you. God's love did this for you. 
Whatever you are willing to sacrifice to get something, determines how much you love that thing. Jesus' sacrifice shows the magnitude of the Father's LOVE towards you. (John 3:16)

2. God became your Father. Before the advent of Jesus, God was not properly introduced to man as a Father. Jesus' coming made it possible for you to be adopted as God's son/daughter. (Romans 8:15, 1John 3:1, 2Cor 6:17-18).

God's love for you should not be measured by what  He is yet to do for you, what you have or do not have, but on what He has already done in Jesus Christ for YOU. Jesus' death is what you need to always look at as the major index of God's LOVE for you. 

1 John  3:16  
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

The only thing you must always do is to look at the cross and see God's son being sacrificed for you. Once you are able to keep this vision, it will be easier for you to accept God's LOVE. It is not so much of God not loving you, than you accepting His love.

Don't be deceived to think that God loves only those that are having things running for them. The only thing that confirms that God's LOVE has reached you is when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.

Today, if you have not embraced His Love by receiving Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour,  I want to encourage you to do that now without further delay. 

GOD LOVES YOU SO MUCH, JUST RECEIVE HIS LOVE.

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. WHEN GOD IS SILENT(2)

Text: Matthew 4:1  *Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.*  We saw yesterday that God was not pleased with many israelites that left Egypt for the promised land  (Corinthians 10:5).  A good percentage of the Israelites were overthrown in the wilderness.   Wilderness experience is not what any child of God desires, but it is an experience God sends or allows his children go through. In Deuteronomy 8:2, God says that He *LED* the Isrealites through the wilderness for forty years to humble them, to prove them, and to know what was in their heart whether they would keep his commandments or not.  Our Lord Jesus Christ was also *LED* into the wilderness by the Spirit of the Lord to be tempted by the devil.
