HE NEVER SLEEPS

Text: Psalms 121:4

Behold,  he who watches over Israel neither sleeps nor slumbers.

Our God is the only one who neither sleeps nor slumbers, and He's watching over you. Every other gods will not only sleep but they will die too.

It will be anormally if He is not sleeping and you are not sleeping too. He said He gives His beloved sleep(Psalms 127:2). The first part of that verse says, " it is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late,  to eat the bread of sorrow"

What could be more vain  than this-waking up  early  and sitting up late,  yet eating the bread of sorrow.  What a Vanity!!!
Bread of sorrow is when anxiety and fretting is  associated with your work. And even the so-called rich people are not exempted from this bread of sorrow.

The bread of sorrows is the pressure you experience for any aspect of your provisions  and well being when you trust only in your ability to provide.

The Amplified version of this verse, psalms 127:2 says ".......for He gives blessings to His beloved even in his sleep".
That is, if you are the beloved of God, even when you are sleeping,  i.e when you are not sweating it out or labouring like the rest,  He will direct blessings your way simply because you are His beloved.

Break away from vanity today. Deliver yourself from the rat race by trusting in the only One who gives power to make wealth. (Deuteronomy 8:18).
He promised you sound sleep (rest from unworthy labour) only if you are His beloved.

To be His beloved, you must know how to please Him(Matthew 3:17). And without faith, it is impossible to please Him(Hebrew 11:6). This faith is summarised in simple obedience to His words.

*He gives His beloved sound sleep(Rest from unnecessary labour) .  Are you His beloved?  It's not too late to become one TODAY.*

Bible reading: Ecclesiastes 1:1-18.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...

IN MY NAME.

Text : Mark 16:17-18  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Having believed in the gospel (Good news of the resurrection of Jesus and His victory over Sin, Satan and Death), you now need to start using the name of Jesus authoritatively. JESUS said that in His name you shall cast out devils; you shall speak with new tongues; you shall take up serpents; and if you drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt you; you shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. This means that you will undertake all these in the authority of Jesus' name. No matter how small or powerless you may think you are in your own eyes. Once you believe in His name, you shall do all that He promised.   Unbelief was the sin that Israelites committed that wasted a whol...
